I enjoy blogging about politics in the Southern Tier, but to be honest, it's not exactly a hot topic on the internet. The few comments that I've received over the last couple months have given me the incentive to "keep on keepin' on," but they've been few and far between. Even the most avid Southern Tier political pundit needs to feel the comfort of comradery. I do not live in the Southern Tier but I visit it often and find the region uniquely interesting, both culturally and politically. From Sherman to Owego, I've spent lots of time roaming around this neglected corner of Western New York, seeing the sights and meeting its people. I appreciate your efforts at keeping up with the shifting political winds of the Southern Tier. Please continue!
ReplyDeleteI, for one, totally salute you! I bet people aren't aware of the blog, for one thing. You might try to get some press by the various political beat reporters throughout the district? Or even do a mass mailing--this is easier said than done--to all Demo and GOP Committeepeople throughout the County? I think it's a great site, resourceful and clever (what with your sense of graphics, etc.). Andhope you keep it up! From California, a Steuben County native....

I ask only, do to the fact I know someone who's considering running for that Congressional Seat, and were looking for good people who are serious about changing the Political Climate of the 29th.
